Sociocracy 3.0 - an illustrated learning journey

One of the things I love most about the work James and I do is the diversity of contexts and people we come into contact with. Helping software developers to learn about requires a different approach, than with coaches and consultants or presenting in a bank or science faculty! I think we've proven our assumption that Sociocracy 3.0 is a framework that applies to all collaboration, regardless of context and I see people in different sectors, from various places around the world finding value in these patterns.

Working in the non-profit sector is different again. Social change-makers or people living together in intentional communities.often have a specific focus on moral and spiritual values and human relationships and how S3 can help then to grow and evolve these dimensions - as well as learning to get s**t done!

Last summer (2016) in Portugal James and I held a course which was attended by people living in community and or with a social focus in their work. We had the privilege of having a graphic artist, our friend Maria Costa recording the experience of the 4 days residential in the beautiful National Park de Arrabida. Although the structure of the course has evolved and changed many times since then, the topics remain the same and due to Maria's talent you can get a feel of the learning journey we shared.

PS: We warmly recommend Maria if you wish to capture your experiences into beautiful images and colors. Her email is
